A Word From our Founder

Welcome! Akwaaba! My name is Kamilla Kirpalani, and I am the proud founder of Explorers Schools. Our school was born out of my belief in the potential and intelligence of the child. In this special place, we celebrate the joy of learning. We are surrounded by unique personalities, dedicated teachers and excited students. We are a school where differences are celebrated, and similarities unite us. Our campus is a microcosm of the beautiful world around us, where our children learn through movement and interaction. Our children are truly ‘citizens of the world’ coming from 40+ countries and speaking a wide array of languages.

Alongside our Core Values, our ethos is grounded in the Montessori Method, with our focus on the holistic development of the child - whether that be academic, social, physical or emotional. Our children develop a sense of responsibility for themselves, others and the environment.

Today, I look around at this beautiful space our community has built together, and I am proud to say that I see a sanctuary, a safe environment for our children to grow into themselves, learn about the world and form lifelong friendships. Wherever you are in your journey, we do hope our school can be a source of growth, learning and support.
